The Coronavirus pandemic forced many non-profits like the Warren Washington C.A.R.E. Center to alter the way we reach and empower our community. At the beginning of the pandemic we were faced with the reality that traditional forms of outreach and education were no longer viable but also had to grapple with knowing that even with a global pandemic, child abuse was still happening. At the Warren Washington C.A.R.E. Center, safety is of utmost importance so we quickly explored new and innovative ways to bring awareness to the prevalence of child abuse in our counties.
We came up with the idea to film a promotional video that not only depicts our essential services, but showcases the C.A.R.E. Center in a way that is child-friendly, safe and comforting for families experiencing the trauma of child abuse. Filming a video was unchartered waters for us but we had the help of amazing community partners who made this project an absolute success! We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our sponsors for making this video a reality for us. Their continued support to the C.A.R.E. Center is a testament to what communities can do if we stand together to fight child abuse.
Thank you to the following sponsors for their financial contribution:
We would also like to say a special thank you to the families who volunteered their time and talents to acting in the production. And to Sidekick Creative for partnering with us to create and produce this important video.
